Ladram Bay Beach & Holiday Park, Devon
Things to do in Ladram Bay
Ladram Bay is a small picturesque and sheltered southeast-facing beach near the village of Otterton, midway between Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth on the South Devon coast. The beach looks out into the bay with its red sea stacks of Otter Sandstone dating from the Triassic Period.
The beach has easy access and an excellent range of facilities. It is safe for swimming and there are loads of great rock pools to investigate. If you are feeling a little more adventurous then you can hire a kayak, rowing boat or a motor boat to do some exploring
If visiting Ladram Bay beach, there is a wealth of things to see and do. The Seaview Shack offers light lunches and other refreshment including hot and cold snacks and ice creams. The beach kiosk hires out rowing or motor boats and kayaks to explore the water, or to try a little fishing. Diving and snorkelling is also good here under the right conditions.
The beach offers safe bathing in its sheltered waters with some great swimming. Younger members of the group may wish to explore the rock pools at the far end of the beach. The necessary nets and buckets are available from the Beach kiosk.
